An installation for Day of the Dead by Carmen Lomas Garza at Smith College, MA.  Interviewed as she creates her large ofrenda (altar) dedicated to the Aztecs of Tenochtitlan (Mexico City), internationally acclaimed Chicana artist Carmen Lomas Garza explains the significance of the Dia de los Muertos celebration and the symbolism of her offerings to her ancestors and mentors.
